We are no longer surprised by the powerful content of royal speeches. Each address offers a fresh perspective, while maintaining a unique and cohesive tone with previous royal speeches. The head of the Moroccan royal family has been careful to address his loyal people using the pronoun "you," engaging them in discussions and posing questions and dilemmas of the "easy/difficult" variety. We witnessed this in the 2025 Throne Speech, which raised fundamental questions after a significant overview of the many achievements that were not the product of mere chance, but rather the result of His Majesty's tireless work, tremendous effort, and far-reaching vision, in addition to the factors of political and security stability and sound strategic choices.

The 2025 Throne Speech, as is typical of other royal speeches, offered a powerful positive provocation, asking: "What gains have we achieved? What projects and challenges await us?" This was intended to help us move toward the future with confidence and optimism. I believe the speech, a faithful advisor, aimed to advise us against arrogance or blind trust, and that we still have much work ahead of us. Everything we have achieved is just a small part of an integrated vision and a "panoramic" picture of today's Morocco, one that leaves no one behind. This is the same integrated royal vision that seeks to provide clear and explicit answers to the expectations of citizens in cities, countryside, and villages.

Therefore, His Majesty the King reminds us, in his speech, that there is no room for a Morocco that operates at two speeds. He also reminds us that we must change gears and move towards sustainable territorial development in order to achieve territorial justice that meets citizens' needs in the areas of health, employment, and social security, while valuing local specificities.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI's address to the nation on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day in 2025 was a celebration of achievements that spoke volumes, elevating Morocco to the list of "high human development" countries. The poverty rate fell from 11.9 in 2014 to 6.8 in 2024, and Morocco's industrial exports doubled. Thanks to its strong and modern infrastructure, Morocco has become an attractive destination for investments and multiple partners, as well as numerous free trade agreements for nearly three billion consumers. This is an emerging Morocco, committed to its security, stability, and food, energy, and health sovereignty. It is also committed to developing all its regions and addressing social and spatial disparities without exclusion or marginalization, despite all the challenges and obstacles. This ensures that we face the future with hope and optimism.

The head of the family, as usual, was keen to be open with the members of the Moroccan family regarding the issue of territorial and national unity, and he publicly announced his extended hand to the brotherly Algerian people for a fraternal dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues, under the slogan “No victor, no vanquished.”

These are the morals of His Majesty the King and the morals of the brave. While the Moroccan Sahara issue is receiving widespread attention and strong recognition from influential countries, most recently Britain and Portugal, and massive investments in the Sahrawi regions, Algeria is experiencing regional and international isolation. Nevertheless, His Majesty the King seeks to save face, raising the slogan "no victor, no vanquished," and stating that the Maghreb Union will not exist without Morocco and Algeria.

I tip my hat to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for this new moral and political lesson, because he has truly proven that politics is also morality.
