The Kingdom of Morocco continues its humanitarian support for the afflicted Gaza Strip.

For the fourth time since the start of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, Morocco, under the direct orders of King Mohammed VI, has sent food and medical aid to the Gaza Strip to help alleviate the spectre of famine facing the residents of the stricken territory. Yesterday's shipment consisted primarily of 180 tons of food aid, particularly baby milk, given the urgent need for relief for this group of people, particularly those suffering from malnutrition, which has caused the deaths of dozens. The aid also includes medical and surgical equipment that has run out or is nearing depletion in the few medical facilities that survived the systematic Zionist destruction.
Less than two weeks after the Al-Aqsa Intifada (in October 2023), Morocco sent two military planes carrying 25 tons of food aid and medical supplies to the people of the Gaza Strip. In March 2024, Morocco repeated the feat by sending 40 tons of medical aid, surgical instruments, and other supplies, not to mention baby formula and food parcels for thousands of Gazans. Bayt Mal Al-Quds, which is headed by King Mohammed VI and funded from his own personal funds, sent prosthetic limbs to 23 children last May, before distributing hundreds of food parcels last June.
These relief efforts, undertaken by Morocco without any significant "publicity," are conducted via "special" and secure routes. Morocco, using its diplomatic relations with various parties, ensures that aid reaches those in need and protects it from looting and theft. It also chose this method as an alternative to airdrops, which have caused unfortunate, unintended incidents. Morocco's efforts are in line with its consistent humanitarian support for the Gaza Strip on several occasions when it was subjected to Israeli military assaults prior to the Al-Aqsa Intifada. At some points, it has undertaken the construction of fully equipped field hospitals, staffed by Moroccan medical personnel. This approach is no different from the aid it provides to its Arab brethren, such as during earthquakes and as happened with Lebanon following the Beirut port explosion.
Despite the attacks on Morocco by those claiming to be Muslims and those who carry the banner of Arab nationalism, and their attempts to belittle its contributions and challenge its policies under the pretext of "normalization with Israel," Morocco has never been swayed by this malicious propaganda, some of which may come from Palestinians belonging to one of the two aforementioned ideological groups. It has never hesitated to extend a helping hand to those in need, with whom it shares Arab, Islamic, or humanitarian ties. Morocco also excels at leveraging its international relations, whether with the direct party (the Israeli government) or influential international parties such as the United States and others. It also benefits from the presence of the largest Moroccan community within the Zionist entity, a fact well understood by the Palestinians, which prompts them to seek Moroccan diplomatic assistance before relief aid, convinced that no one can solve their problems like Moroccan diplomacy.
In conclusion, Morocco, whose diplomacy operates under the direct orders of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, does not need a certificate of “good conduct” from any party in this world. It acts based on what is dictated by its national, religious, and humanitarian duty, and its system of values deeply rooted in history, which is based on never hesitating to extend a helping hand to anyone in need, without favor or favor. This is what it has been accustomed to doing for the afflicted Palestinian people, at various stages of their suffering, and in all places where they are present.
