Fallacies and lies surrounding Israel's recognition of Moroccan Sahara!!

Parliamental relations Morocc-israelian

As expected, the Israeli sovereign decision to recognize the Moroccan Sahara has generated a storm of “angry” reactions from members of the “anti-normalization” tribe, including “professional strugglers,” “remnants of the revolution,” “guardians of nationalism,” and “protectors of Sharia law,” as well as those who orbit around them, whether ignorant or incompetent. All share the same inability to act—any action—and their reluctance to attempt to understand what is happening around them and in the world!

But what is noticeable is that this chorus of “parrots” does not even make an effort to understand what is being circulated by the “revolutionary, national, Islamic, resistance” electronic flies, nor does it focus on aspects that might pose a threat to Morocco, Palestine, or even Arabism and Islam. Rather, it repeats, without scrutiny, a series of lies, fallacies, ambiguous concepts, and gratuitous accusations. We will suffice here to quickly review the most prominent of them:

First, Israel's decision to recognize Moroccan Sahara is a sovereign decision, not subject to the logic of right and wrong. The most another country can do in response to it is either support it, and thus imitate it, or oppose it... with silence!! Accordingly, the Algerian Foreign Ministry, which issued a "boisterous" statement attacking the move, does not understand the basics of diplomatic work. This is naturally due to two reasons: First, the mental capabilities of those in charge are governed by their age (which is usually no less than seventy); and second, its officials do not even have the authority to amend military communiqués that come to them from generals, who do not outshine them in mental capabilities in any case. This position poses an inevitable question: Why has Algeria not issued statements condemning and denouncing the recognition of Israel by 162 other countries other than Morocco? Especially since these include 5 Arab countries, nearly 47 Islamic countries, and 48 African countries!! Why aren't similar statements issued regarding the 164 countries that do not recognize the Polisario Front, and therefore recognize Morocco's sovereignty, explicitly or implicitly, over its Sahara?! On the other hand, the issue of international recognition is highly variable and remains a right guaranteed to each country, and the Algerian Foreign Ministry has nothing to do with it. There are 138 countries that recognize Palestine, even though it is not a member state of the United Nations, and not even a state!! Unless we admit that the farce hosted by the Pine Palace in Algiers in 1988 was actually the declaration of the State of Palestine!! As for Kosovo, 98 countries recognize it, even though it is not recognized by the United Nations. What's even more ridiculous is that there are nearly 29 countries that recognize a fictitious republic that has no sovereignty over its land or people, nor any form of sovereignty!!

The second lie that many people spread out of ignorance or stupidity says that Morocco is begging for Israeli recognition of its territorial integrity in order to grant legitimacy to the belonging of part of its land to it!! The belonging of Western Sahara to the Kingdom of Morocco is as firmly established as the belonging of the “occupied” Eastern Sahara to it. A constancy confirmed by historical, geographical and diplomatic facts rooted for twelve centuries, and not since 1975 as the “sons of France” in Algeria promote; or since 1963 as is the legitimacy of the Algerian state!! A constancy that Morocco does not beg for by relying on the principle of “borders inherited from French colonialism”, as is the case with Algeria, whose authority has never gained independence from France!! Rather, it is based on the blood of its sons who confronted various empires of the ancient and modern world, since centuries before Christ!! Accordingly, we understand the “complex” of an Algerian state whose current borders were drawn by France only during the last hundred years, towards the neighboring empire, and convinced that this was sufficient to grant these borders the required legitimacy; It also assigned “dirty” roles to its generals, tasking them with fragmenting the Maghreb region and preventing any communication between its people, which they did perfectly!!

To help those promoting these fallacies understand, we tell them that the political legitimacy endorsed by the United Nations is a legitimacy created by the votes of member states through their approval of a resolution, just as the majority agreed to grant legitimacy to an Israeli entity that is not, and never has been, part of this region. The fact that Palestine has not been recognized by the United Nations does not diminish in the slightest the legitimacy of its people's belonging to their land, nor the belonging of this land to its Arab surroundings. The same applies to Morocco; the legitimacy of its eastern and western Saharan provinces is an issue not subject to votes or opinions. However, its diplomatic effort is nevertheless necessary to secure sufficient votes to remove this file from the United Nations, which was brought there by Western colonial powers with the aim of fighting, blackmailing, marginalizing, and severing its ties with its Arab and African surroundings. The crime and treachery of its neighbors is represented by the wholehearted involvement of its generals in this scheme, even if it leads to the squandering of Algeria's resources and sacrificing the interests of millions of Algerians!! A reality about to change forever, after Morocco secured the required majority to remove its Sahara from the Fourth Committee and expel the Tindouf Republic from the African Union. To say that Morocco would not benefit from an "occupier" recognizing its sovereignty over its Sahara, the simple answer is that recognition by the "State of Israel," regardless of its nature, is welcome, just as previous international recognitions were welcomed, even by microscopic Pacific islands, as long as they are members of the United Nations. Simply put, it brings us closer to the required majority to close this issue internationally.

The truly ridiculous and stupid argument is that Morocco's acceptance of Israel's recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over its Sahara is a "stab" in the back of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause!! Has the Sahara become part of the Palestinian land, such that Moroccan sovereignty over it constitutes a stab in the back of the Palestinians?! Wouldn't the recognition of the Palestinian Authority, Algeria, and the rest of the Arabs and Muslims of Israel's ownership of 78% of historical Palestine occupied in 1948, and of West Jerusalem as its capital, be more appropriately a stab in the back of the Palestinian people?! Isn't this what the two-state solution that the Palestinian Authority promotes at every forum stipulates?!

A lie even more stupid than the previous one, claiming that Morocco paid for Israeli recognition, agreeing to the presence of Israeli forces on the Algerian border!! This is on the grounds that the "Algerian superpower" is a source of annoyance, and therefore a target, for the United States and Israel, which is why they are keen to destroy it!! Do those who repeat such nonsense really have any sense?! Where were we when Algeria became a source of threat to Israel?! And does Israel - in the middle of the third decade of the twenty-first century - need an actual Israeli presence in a country neighboring Algeria?! For God's sake, is the person who repeats this in their right mind?! Where have the air and naval forces gone?! And why does Israel target "France's agents" in Algeria in the first place?! And does Morocco, if forced to confront France's agents militarily, need assistance at all?! Does that require the presence of Israeli and American forces on its soil, or are there other means to receive assistance if needed?! Let us then ask: Is President Tebboune's request for protection from Russian forces more honorable than military cooperation with Israel? And is working for France more acceptable than cooperating with Israel?! Questions that only require an answer from the mental abilities of an elementary school student!!

Without further ado, these are dozens of lies and fallacies. While it is understandable that their promoters are Cold War “fossils” whose brains haven’t been updated since the 1970s, what is surprising is that they find receptive ears, listening to them and repeating them, among today’s generations. But repeating them ultimately constitutes a damning condemnation of all educational systems in all our Arab countries, which have produced “herds” that lack reason and logic, and repeat myths and lies, without even attempting to scrutinize the extent to which what they repeat is believable!!
